Jesus is not one Christian topic among many; He reveals God, accomplishes salvation, rules His Church, and gives the whole Bible its goal.

Every Road In The Gospel Leads To Christ

The Christian faith is shaped like a wheel whose spokes meet in one hub. Doctrine, worship, ethics, hope, and community hold together because Jesus holds them together.

Jesus Reveals The Father

People often begin with an imagined god: a larger version of themselves, a distant force, or a strict scorekeeper. Jesus ends the guessing. says the Son makes the unseen God known, and calls Him the image of the invisible God. His holiness, compassion, authority, truth, and mercy display the Father's character without distortion.

This is more than a great teacher explaining God. The eternal Word who was with God and was God became flesh (). When Philip asked to see the Father, Jesus answered that the one who had seen Him had seen the Father (). The Deity Of Christ gathers the divine names, works, worship, and authority that make sense of that claim.

To move away from Jesus in search of a clearer God is to move away from God's own self-revelation.

Jesus Accomplishes Salvation

Christianity does not say that God hands us instructions and waits to see who climbs high enough. The Son came down. He lived the obedience we owe, bore sins in His body on the cross, and rose as the beginning of new creation. Salvation is located in Him: redemption through His blood, forgiveness by His grace, and reconciliation to God ().

That is why the apostles' message keeps returning to His death and Resurrection. does not present the Gospel as a mood or moral program. It announces what Christ did “for our sins,” His burial, His rising, and His appearances. The Cross And Atonement explains why His sacrifice truly saves rather than merely inspiring us.

A Christian is not someone who has outperformed others. A Christian has been united to Christ by faith and lives from His finished work.

Jesus Rules And Leads His People

The risen Jesus is not a founder who left His movement behind. He is present Lord and head of the Church. He gives the Holy Spirit, gathers a people, supplies gifts, intercedes for believers, and sends them to make disciples. Christian worship is offered through Him; Christian prayer comes in His name; Christian obedience learns His commands.

His lordship also joins truth and life. Jesus' commands are not optional accessories to belief, yet obedience never replaces Him as Savior. Believers obey because they belong to Him. When they fail, they return to the same faithful Advocate who died for them and now lives ().

The Bible's ending remains centered on Jesus: the Lamb reigns, evil is judged, creation is renewed, and His servants see His face ().

Christianity begins, continues, and reaches its goal in Jesus Christ. He is not a doorway we leave behind but the Lord we know forever.

Questions
Why Not Go Straight To God?

Because the Father Himself sends us to the Son. Jesus is not a barrier placed between people and God; He is God the Son who brings sinners to the Father. No one comes to the Father except through Him, and everyone who truly receives Him receives the Father who sent Him (; ).

Can I Keep Only His Ethics?

No. Jesus' moral teaching rests on His identity and kingdom. The One who commands love also claims authority to forgive sin, judge humanity, give eternal life, and receive supreme allegiance. Taking a few sayings while rejecting the Lord who spoke them is not following Jesus; it replaces Him with an edited character of our own making.

Can Christianity Exist Without Him?

No. Paul says that if Christ has not been raised, Christian preaching and faith are empty (). Christianity makes definite claims about a definite person and saving event. Its truth does not depend on Christians being flawless; it depends on Jesus being who He said and rising as God declared.
