The Samaritan woman contrasts Mount Gerizim and Jerusalem (). Jesus affirms that salvation comes from the Jews, then announces an hour when true worship is no longer defined by either mountain. The Messiah has come, and access to the Father is centered on Him.
This does not make embodied gathering unnecessary. It makes Jesus, rather than sacred geography, the new-covenant center.

Questions
Is Sincerity Enough?
No. A sincere person can direct devotion toward a false object or practice God forbids. Jesus joins spirit and truth. Sincerity needs Scripture's light, and correct doctrine needs sincere love.
Are Liturgies Or Forms Wrong?
No. Every service has an order, repeated practices, and inherited forms. The question is whether they agree with Scripture, serve understanding and participation, and carry truthful hearts toward God. Jesus condemns empty tradition that displaces God's command, not faithful order itself.
Does Place Matter At All?
Practical place matters for gathering, safety, and hospitality, but no building gives access to God. Christ does. A kitchen table, rented hall, cathedral, or prison room can host true worship when His people gather under His Word.
