Biblical readiness means faith in Christ expressed through holiness, love, work, witness, endurance, and joyful expectation.

Readiness begins by belonging to Jesus through repentance and faith. First, Belong To The King

No emergency plan can replace reconciliation with God. Jesus is the Judge who first offered Himself as Savior. Bring sin to His cross, trust His Resurrection, and confess Him as Lord. Those in Christ await salvation, not condemnation.

Assurance rests on His finished work, while a changed life confirms living faith. Readiness is neither anxious perfectionism nor a profession that makes peace with rebellion.

Be A Faithful Steward

Jesus' return parables emphasize food given at the right time, lamps kept supplied, talents used, and vulnerable neighbors served. Prepare by doing today's assignment well. Keep promises, care for family, work honestly, give generously, serve the Church, protect the weak, and repair wrongs.

Future hope makes present duty meaningful; it does not excuse neglect.

Watch With Biblical Discernment

Know Scripture's major sign patterns and refuse deception, but do not label every earthquake, eclipse, war, disease, identification system, or political figure the final fulfillment. Early birth pains are not by themselves the end. Strong claims require the full textual identifiers.

Never follow a teacher who sets a forbidden date, demands money or isolation, or claims secret authority beyond Scripture. Sola Scriptura protects watchfulness from manipulation.

Hope, Mission, And Prayer

Pray “Come, Lord Jesus” while also praying for repentance and taking the Gospel outward. Longing for judgment is never permission to hate those who need mercy. Christ's patience created space for our salvation; we should use that space to call others home.

Watchfulness is a heart awake to Jesus, hands busy with His work, and eyes lifted in hope without abandoning the neighbor beside you.

Should I Study The Signs?

Yes, because Jesus and the apostles teach them for discernment, endurance, and hope. Study complete passages rather than viral clips, distinguish clear events from debated sequencing, and test every claim by Scripture. If study produces pride, panic, or neglect of duty, its method has gone wrong.

How Can I Know I Am Ready?

Look first to Christ: are you trusting His finished work rather than your goodness? Then look for the Spirit's fruit: repentance, love for God and His people, desire for holiness, and perseverance. Weak faith can hold a strong Savior. Bring doubts into Scripture, prayer, and a faithful Church rather than hiding them.

Should I Still Plan For The Future?

Yes. James condemns arrogant planning without God, not wise preparation. Educate children, save responsibly, plant, build, serve, and make long-term Gospel plans while saying, “If the Lord wills.” Readiness holds plans loosely and obedience firmly.
